Overview:

The Center for Nanoscale Materials at Argonne National Laboratory (near Chicago, USA) has an immediate postdoctoral opening on computer vision for materials imaging. The postdoctoral researchers will work on developing and applying computer vision algorithms and software, used in conjunction with atomistic simulations, to accelerate the analysis of state-of-the-art microscopy images (including electron microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, and ultrafast electron microscopy). The postdoctoral researchers will be collaborating extensively with microscopists, theorists, and computer scientists at Argonne and elsewhere.
