Overview:

The High Energy Physics Division (HEPD) at Argonne National Laboratory invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position to conduct research in machine learning (ML) for applications in High-Energy Physics (HEP). We seek highly qualified candidates with experience in ML algorithms including unsupervised techniques. The candidate is expected to lead an effort to prepare generalized ML techniques for data quality (DQ) monitoring,assurance for tasks across multiple HEP experiments. Among the experiments with Argonne involvement are ATLAS at CERN, DUNE, g-2, Mu2e, LSST-DESC, LZ, SPT and CMB-S4. Experience with the data from any of these experiments is preferred but not required.
